Burn baby burn

Some gas truck driver going too fast crashed and melted our freeway entrance:



Amazingly the driver of the truck survived. After walking a mile and a half with second degree burns he hailed a cab to take him to the hospital. San Franciscian's don't need terrorists; we distroy our freeways all by ourselves.

PS: the title of the video is wrong. It was not the bridge that melted it was one of the many freeway entrances leading to the bridge.

Dish of the day: cous cous!!!

That's official: I definitely love cous cous!!!
this is the dish of my week end: cous cous with chicken, aubergines, courgettes, mushrooms, tomatoes and chickpeas. mmmmmmh!! so good!!
..i would like to have another of our international meals..i will never forget crepes, paella, sasha's chicken, all the delicious food everybody cooked and our fantastic barbacue under the rain :-D
i hope we will repeat it!!

The smashing pumpkins to play at heineken jammin' festival this summer!!!
that's a great news!!I discovered it tonight!!It's my dream to see them on stage!!!!
The festival will last 3 days and there will be different famous rock band..i'm so excited!! Have you ever heard about it? I think europe is full of festival during the summer..i hope I will have the time to go there!!!

There He Moves Again!

For the 5th time in 2 years I'm changing cities: now I'm going to Chicago. In case you don't remember, Chicago was shown in the skyline poster I had on the wall in the Fulford College lounge.

..life in Italy?!..it's already hot and my mind is on vacation..but cruel destiny I've to study!!!

tomorrow it's holyday! it's the 25th of april the day when the north of italy was release from germans during the 2nd ww.

.so everything is closed and we have a day off from uni..

Hah, I'm A Fool

It turns out the Belgian BBQ story was an April Fool's joke that stuck around for a few days. It was sooo believable though.

Belgians are stupid. At least the Walloon authorities are. In the French-speaking half of Belgium, anyone having a barbecue must pay a fine of 20 euros. And I thought the television tax was overbearing!

Speaking of bbq, did anyone get pictures of our bbq in York?
