So, What Are You Up To?

I'm only familiar with what a handful of the Fulfordians are doing these days, and even that info may be out-of-date now. So who is still at Uni, who's working (and what are you doing), and where are you?

I'm in Chicago still. Same job in insurance. No Europe trip for me this summer, unfortunately, but I'm taking German classes again here in Chicago.

It's funny, I was just about to update everyone on what I'm doing.
So... I'm still working on my MA in Buildings Archaeology at York. My classes are over and I'm working on my dissertation over the summer. I'm creating a 3d model reconstructing the interior decoration of an ancient Egyptian palace. Interesting, but challenging, as I've never done 3d modelling before.
I really want to move back to the States in September or October. I'm currently applying for jobs and hoping for the best!

I am working for the Fire Department here in Utrecht, performing dull tasks while looking for a proper job or a PhD-position.
I am working as a temp so my job will not bring me great prosperity, and so I will probably only go on vacation for one week, but it will be in Merry Old England. A friend of mine (and since a few months my sister's boyfriend) is half English and we will stay in his parents country house for a week in July.
I am still cycling, and with some succes in march and april. Two weeks ago I crashed (as some might have seen on my facebook page) quite heavily, but I am all ok now and even racing again.
I hope you're all doing well and am happy to see some life on the blog, although the Chinese (or are they Japanese?) comments below Lisa's are probably not truly post-related...

Hi Erik, exciting stuff about Holland in the World Cup final!

Any chance you'll take a position outside Holland or outside academia?
